Chrome is a relatively new browser, it’s free and it was built by Google. It’s similar to Internet Explorer (IE), FireFox or Safari.

One reason I like it… It can automatically translate a Chinese website into English.

Here’s a cute little commercial… but be sure to catch the second video beneath it.

As kid, going to the gas station with my mom was something I looked forward to. As soon as she would say, "I have to stop by the gas station", the anticipation would start building. If I was 'good' going to the gas station could mean getting a special treat. My favorite was and still is Hot Tamales. Sometimes my Mom would get a treat too...usually Carmels or Junior Mints. After filling up the car we would drive off munching away with satisfied smiles on our faces.

As a kid, going to the gas station with my mom was something I looked forward to. As soon as she would say, “I have to stop by the gas station”, the anticipation would start building. If I was ‘good’ going to the gas station could mean getting a special treat. My favorite was and still is Hot Tamales. Sometimes my Mom would get a treat too…usually Carmels or Junior Mints. After filling up the car we would drive off munching away with satisfied smiles on our faces.

My mom and I had very different ways of eating our treats. I was all about finishing every last morsel in one sitting, whereas my mom was a saver. She would always save a few for later. Our tendencies are still true to this day…I tend to consume information in broad brushstrokes and go on to the next thing quickly, Mom on the other hand occassionally likes to save…

Here’s a look how to save a website for later.

Open your web browser (my mom uses Firefox)

Enter the URL (website address) into the browser

Click Enter (return)

Wait for the page to load

Click “Bookmarks”

Click “Bookmark this page”

Change the name of the bookmark to something you’ll recognize

Click Done Click the Home icon

Click Bookmarks navigate to and click the name of the page you just saved
